For use with umbrellas (except the SoftStar), it reduces undesirable light scatter and ensures optimum light conditions. This reflector provides a very wide angle even distribution of light. Can be used without an umbrella also. Can be used to produce a direct (hard) light or indirect lighting over walls and ceilings.

This innovative reflector opens up new ways of lighting via a removable center cap. With the center cap in-place the lighting is soft and very even with a slightly warmer characteristic. Removing the cap allows 7" honeycombs or gels to be added giving a soft base light with varying focus depending on the honeycomb used, offering two types of light from the same direction form a single reflector. Similar to the (8603) white beauty dish, but with a shiny silver inside surface, giving a more brilliant and directional light.

For a narrow light source, giving a similar effect to a honeycomb, but providing a well defined border from light to darkness. Lower light efficiency than honeycombs or accent tubes.

Compares favourably to the narrow-angle reflector (No.92) thanks to its considerably higher light efficiency and an extremly homogeneous but still accented light distribution. The narrow lighting angle is ensured by a micro-honeycomb inside the reflector. Gives a highly natural light without visible gradients.
